Politikanet tane me se shumti gjate ketyre 23 viteve tranzicion me veprimet e mosveprimet e tyre kane ngaterruar sistemin ekonomiko-shoqeror me shtetin.
A thua vertet keta qeveritare kane menduar per qytetaret (popullin), apo e thene cope - ngrene lavdine (me fal pasurine) e tyre mbi mjerimin e te tjereve?
Kjo kerkese mbeshtetet ne sa argumentova me lart si dhe per arsyet juridike sa me poshte.

FINDING YOURSELF.

Understanding yourself and relating to others.

"He who knows others is wise ; he who knows himself is enlightened." - Tao Tzu

Do you sometimes wonder who you really are?
Do you feel that you are constantly adapting yourself to suit the needs of others?
Do you have multiple, conflicting roles in life that leave you feeling confused or compromised?
Do you feel that you are not relating to others as effectively as you would like?
We live in a complicated world that seems to expect us to be lots of different things all at the same time. Very rarely are we called on just to be ourselves - yet strangely when we see that in others we applaud it and call it things like "individuality", "Charisma" and inspiring leadership".
So why is it that true individuality in others seems inspiring and yet individuality for ourselves can seem impossible - or at least impractical? And if we do "find ourselves", how do we then relate to others in new ways?
"Know thyself" - Socrates
It is said that in ancient Greece the phase "know thyself" was inscribed in the forecourt of the Temple of Apollo in Delphi. The ancient Greek philosophers realized that knowing yourself was an essential pre-requisite for all wisdom. Socrates focused upon knowing himself because there is a little point in knowing about external things if you do not understand yourself first.
Of course in childhood the main emphasis was put on knowing things and accumulating knowledge about the world in order to pass exams and get good grades. Knowing and understanding yourself is not a subject that gets examined and may not feature heavily, if at all, whist growing up. It is left to chance later in life, if needed it is ever actively on the agenda.
As adults we do not need to leave it to chance and can take responsibility for understanding ourselves at any point. We are able to take what we have learnt from others, reflect on our life experiences and discover for ourselves who and what we are.
Not knowing yourself has broad implications for how you live your life and relate to others. A fuller version of the quote expands the point:
"My friend...care for your psyche...know thyself, for once we know ourselves, we may learn how to care for ourselves".
If you do not know and understand yourself you will not be able to take care of yourself ; without being in touch with yourself, you will not be able to truly get in touch with others; without understanding yourself, you will not be in a position to understand and relate to others effectively.
A true relationship with yourself is necessary for a true relationship with others. If you can blow away the fog of confusion that gets in the way of you seeing yourself as you really are, you will be able to see others emerging from the mist more clearly too.
Socrates says that the main priority of life is to find yourself - and, if you choose, you can blow away the fog of confusion that gets in the way of you seeing yourself as you really are, you will be able to see others emerging from the mist more clearly too.
Socrates says that the main priority of life is to find yourself - and, if you choose, you can become the world's experts on yourself. This is the path of personal growth and development and ultimately no-one can have a better understanding of yourself than you.
What motivates us?
Different things motivate different people.
 Nature vs Nurture.
It is perhaps worth exploring here the perennial question about what shapes us individuals - is it our nature that we are born with that dominates our future path, or is it nurture - the way that we are brought up and the influences on and around us during that time? Of course the truth is that it is blend of both.
A natural talent and creative flair of music, if not developed, does not automatically lead to a musical genius like Mozart. He is regarded as a child prodigy, a naturally gifted musician at an astonishingly young age, so it is reasonable to assume it was in his nature somehow. The reality is though that he lived and breathed music under the immense pressure from his father and wrote very many pieces of music so that by the time some of it was pretty good he was still young. From the outside it looks as though he is a genius, if you saw the reality you may conclude it was sheer hard work and dedication.
What is true though, is that without the "encouragement" (or pressure) from his father he would not have accomplished the things that he did.
The desire for acceptance.
As we have already seen, the main thing that motivates the vast majority, if not all of us, is to be loved and accepted and to know that we are good enough.
This desire for acceptance creates in us a sort of rule-book of beliefs and values, a sense of right and wrong, what is acceptable and what is not. they could be helpful beliefs and values, a sense of right and wrong, what is acceptable and what is not. They could be helpful beliefs or unhelpful beliefs, true or false.
They have been inherited from parents, family, friends, colleagues and society at large. Indeed much of it is neither deliberately, or even consciously taught to us, but is received by osmosis. Long held beliefs and 'common sense' approaches are are talked about in an unquestioned way and adopted as fact by the individual growing up.
Even as adults we are bombarded with messages and our desire to be individual conflicts with our desire to be accepted. Usually the desire for acceptance wins. The simple reason for this is that the only way that society can operate, i.e. with lots of individuals living together in peace, is if everyone plays to a set of rules. This means sacrificing some individuality in order to gain the security that comes with living together in community.

Numbness in Hands and Feet ( Mpirjet e duarve dhe këmbëve).

English Version:

If you are reading this page then you, a friend or perhaps a loved one has numbness in hands and feet that is either constant or intermittent.  It is important to distinguish numbness in the hands alone vs numbness in the feet alone vs both at the same time because that will significantly change the diagnosis associated with those symptoms.  Before doing any further reading or research it is important to record the time, instances, character of the numbness or tingling.  The medical term for this is sometimes call parasthesias.

The basis for parasthesias is generally neurologically based though general body numbness or tingling can be caused by non neurological symptoms.  One non-neurologic disorder such as anxiety can be the basis for these.  During a panic attack for example one could have generalized tingling of the hands and feet which can be either symmetrical or symetrical.  Usually, this is easily discernable  from a more serious condition based on the actual physical findings and history.

An acute numbness in the hands and feet or just a numbness or tingling in the feet or hands alone without any associated trauma could be indicative of a stroke or perhaps a transient ischemic attack.  With new onset numbness or tingling I suggest taking an aspirin right away unless you are already on another blood thinning medication like plavix or aggrenox.  If there was associated trauma you should seek medical attention as there could be nerve damage

If you have had the flu shot and have these symptoms along with significant weakness and fatigue you may have Guillain-Barre syndrome which could be life threatening.  You should seek medical attention immediately.

Should you have chronic parasthesias in the legs only likely you have peripheral neuropathy.  There is idiopathic peripheral neuropathy which as a chronic debilitating disease that worsens with age.  Fortunately there are many medications you can take to help with this and over time your pain and discomfort should ease and become tolerable.  It takes some time to get the right regimen.  Often the regimen is quite idiosyncratic as is the response to it.  If you have diabetes then perhaps you have a diabetic peripheral neuropathy.  Should that be the case make sure that you are vigilant in controlling your diabetes as uncontrolled diabetes here is the culprit and can cause your symptoms to worsen going forward.

This is just a brief summary of some of the many disorders than can cause numnbess in hands and feet and we encourage you to seek active medical advice regarding your ailments.   There is more information available throughout the site that may be helpful as well.

Careers and Employability.

University is Finishing, NOW WHAT?

What Are your career goals and how higher education will help you get there?

Will graduate school pay off?

Should you go to graduate school immediately after completing your bachelor's degree?

Aren't these the questions you have been asking yourself lately?

Student internship or volunteer during the summer, semester or upon graduating: Interning or volunteering in your field is one of the best ways to get some real experience in the career you want and boost your resume!
Many companies are more willing to hire a candidate right out of college if they have at least had some relevant experience in the field through internships or other part-time work.

Look for smaller companies for your first full time job : in many fields, it can be easier to land a position in the field in smaller , local companies. Depending on the size of your city or town , you may even know some of the people working in the field that interests you. It can be often easier to land a position with the small company in order to get the experience and expertise you need to move into a larger institution.

Think about your connections and networks : Think about your parent[s careers,an aunt that works in a a bank, a friend in advertising , ect. and ask them for advice about how to get into the field. You can also ask them to let you know if they hear of any available positions within their company or in smaller ones.

Time to Get Hired!

Make FACEBOOK work for you (pt 2).

Start by making your own network aware that you are looking for a new JOB. All this requires is a status update in which you mention that you are looking for work and would love to e-mail your CV to anybody who is interested.

You can also set up your own page on, e.g. linkedin.com post the link in facebook - preferably with a message to recipients  that they are more than welcome to forward the link to others in their networks. This is a quick and effective way of spreading the message.

A second, more strategic way to use FACEBOOK is to find insiders - friends who work at the companies in which you're interested. Find contacts that work in the company or maybe know someone who does, and then take steps to contact them. Ask about the working conditions, what qualities are prized by the company , and whether she/he might be able to put in a good word for you.

Make FACEBOOK work for you.

Social media are here to stay and they have become a good way of keeping track of family, friends, colleagues, business partners and others in your network.

You may have already a solid network of friends and acquaintances on FACEBOOK. Remember that everyone in your network has his or her own network, of which you are a small part. Most people have more than 100 Facebook friends. This means that you are one step removed from 10,000 potential contacts. You should make use of this fact. This can be done in several ways.
But before you start, avoid suspicious types. Don't display photos where you look drunk, where you are partially undressed or at some wild party or event. Be aware of what groups you join, and what they say about you. Ask yourself what impression you want to give to a potential employer, and what they'd think of you if they looked you up on FACEBOOK.

(This is also a matter of you protecting yourself and your personal life).

In the future days we will post the steps one by one to make your FACEBOOK work for you. Stay tuned. Leave a comment below if you have any questions.

Poor or Broke?

Broke Vs. Poor

(True story)
When I was growing up, my next-door-neighbor was a single mom who supported herself with her writing. Needless to say, she did not have issues of where to invest all that excess income.
One thing she used to say, which stuck in my mind was:
“I’m not poor, I’m just always broke.”
I remember being a little confused with this. Weren’t poor and broke the same thing? I just didn’t get it.
Now that I’m a certified grown-up, I think I understand what she was getting at.
To describe oneself as poor is to accept a place in a lower strata. To believe that there is a distinction between the classes, and you’re simply stuck at the bottom. It’s who you are, and there’s no way out. The long term view.
To be broke, means you have no money, but it’s a temporary situation. You’re just one good writing assignment away from financial stability. You may have an empty bank account now, but flush times are just around the corner.
Is there a real difference between poor and broke?
Of course not.
I’m not suggesting that poverty isn’t a valid and real existence for millions of people the world over.
But it sure is more satisfying to be frugal because you’re broke, rather than because you’re poor.
And I’ve certainly been broke in my life, but I sure as hell have never been poor.
Have you ever refused to take money saving measures because you didn’t want to be perceived as poor? Tell us about it in the comments section below.

What about money?

History of money shows us that it is a medium of exchange for trade. It can be a medium of exchange because it has a clear value that is trusted by everyone.

Money is also a way to store value for the future. So, for example, we can save up our money to buy something expensive in the future.

Finally, money is also a unit of account. It can be counted easily and it enables a clear value to be given to goods.

The history of money

Barter

Many thousands of years ago, our European ancestors lived as hunters and farmers.

Stone axe from
the Stone Age
Metals had not been discovered, so they hunted and farmed with stone tools – this time was known as theStone Age. Stone Age men and women did not have the banknotes and coins that we use today. Instead, they would exchange goods with each other: for example, a hunter could exchange animal skins with a farmer for grain, or a fisherman could exchange decorative seashells for a polished stone axe with a hunter. This exchange is known as barter. An important feature of barter is that it involves the exchange of goods that have value.

A medium for exchange

When our ancestors learned how to make metals then exchanges became easier.

Silver nugget

This is because metals, such as gold silver, tin and iron, were valuable to everyone. So, a farmer could barter his cattle for a certain weight of silver, then later, the farmer could use some of this silver to pay his taxes. In this way, valuable metals and other objects became a 'measure of value', a 'medium of exchange' and a way to 'store value' until it is needed.

The first coins

Around 2600 years ago, the first coins were made in Asia Minor.

Ancient Greek coin

The ancient Greeks quickly adopted this new idea and started producing silver and bronze coins, for example the silver drachma. These early coins contained a specified weight of metal with a certain value. And to guarantee this weight, the coins were stamped with a seal by the king or city or country that issued them.

Coins were convenient because they could be counted rather than weighed. Because these new coins were a trusted and efficient 'medium of exchange' they helped greatly increase trade in the ancient world.

The first European currencies

To guarantee the value of coins, kings and governments strictly controlled their production.

In ancient Rome, coin production was done in the temple of Juno Moneta – which is where the word 'money' comes from.

Later, as the Roman Empire expanded, other mints were opened and the same roman coins were accepted for exchange all across Europe, from the British Isles to Turkey – the first pan-European currency.

Later, as the Roman Empire broke up and the nations of Europe began to appear, each country kept control of its own coinage.

It was from these European nations that we inherited the many coins and currencies that existed before the euro. These were often named after units of measure, such as the Italian lira and the Finnish markka, because the coins originally contained a fixed amount of gold and silver.

A problem with many currencies is that, depending on the success of individual economies, the exchange rate between the currencies can vary a lot – this makes trade between countries a risky business, so it is discouraged.

20th century currencies in Europe

Before the euro was introduced most European countries had their own coins and banknotes – their own currency.

For travel and trade, it was necessary to change money as you changed country. In Germany you paid in Deutschmarks, if you left Germany and travelled to France you had to exchange your Deutschmarks for French Francs, and so on.

The names of Europe's old currencies often revealed something about their origins:
  • The schilling, used in Austria, was named after a mark on a stick used for counting.
  • The tolar used in Slovenia comes from the medieval coin, the thaler, first minted in the Czech Republic in 1518 – the name 'thaler' is the origin of the term 'dollar' in the USA.
  • The name of the Greek drachma means 'handful' and refers to a handful of six metal bars that were used as currency before the drachma was introduced in ancient Greece.
  • The franc, meaning 'free' in French, was first minted in the 14th century to pay the ransom for the French King John the Good.

Zhvillimi i karrieres

Disa here ne e komplikojme dhe e veshtiresojme me shume se cduhet zhvillimin e karrieres.
A merreni me stervitje apo i lyeni floket rregullisht?
